Being a Star Trek fan from the beginning, I never thought any science fiction program could be better. BSG is the best series I have ever known; not so much because it was science fiction and had great visual effects with music that cannot be matched, but because it was an excellent example of good writing and having an end in sight from the beginning. Although I get a little turned off to violence and gore, it was the writing that kept bringing me back to what is real in life. Each one of us has evil and bad inside of us. BSG demonstrates that we can live with these demons, and still be good souls, in the journey of seeking our own humanity. I learned a lot about myself and I am changed by the brilliance of this series that depicted characters in their own life struggles to understand what it is to be human.

This show has no equal. It is in a class by itself. And I love how they incorporated music into the script. The music is a character unto itself. BEAR McCREARY's music is astounding. I have all of his BSG CDs. Season 2, *Baltar's Dream* is nothing short of mesmerizing. I hear he(Mr. McCreary) has been playing (conducting) to standing-room-only performances with his BSG Orchestra out there in L.A. I hope, hope, hope he tours. Or maybe a TV-cable-special? HBO, PBS--somebody!!!

I've watched it from the start with a very skeptic attitude and have been hooked since the mini series...I give BSG a standing ovacious 10 in everyway.
The writers and direction has been without equal and someone has put heart felt thought into EVERY episode....BRAVO!

If you do not watch from episode #1 to the very last episode, you would have missed one of the best series ever played on television.From the cast to the special effects and not even the least of all the new twist of the story made it a must see.This show has it all drama,action,love/hate situations with some of the cast. Do not forget to watch the ending credits they are a blast,lmao
