Heather Locklear on 'Melrose Place' Set

I am the biggest fan of the least-watched show on Tuesdays: "Melrose Place" (9pm on the CW). Call me crazy, but I love my TV jam-packed with melodramatic shenanigans and a smoking-hot cast. I also happen to be a sucker for the old show (thank you, Aaron Spelling), and seeing the original cast pop up poolside is icing on the cake. So far, Laura Leighton, Thomas Calabro, and Josie Bissett have reprised their roles, and up next is Daphne Zuniga, followed by Heather Locklear.

Locklear makes her grand re-entrance on November 17 as Amanda Woodward, and the CW has released photos of her on set. So what do we know about Amanda Woodward's return? People magazine reports that the producers built her into the new "Melrose" in a significant way, hoping that she'd be back. WPK, the publicity firm where Ella (Katie Cassidy) works, has Amanda written all over it. Or Woodward, that is. "The ‘W' is for Woodward," explains producer Todd Slavkin. "Heather's character has moved on from being an ad agency wiz and has gone into publicity." Of course, Ms. Woodward is the big bad boss lady. According to E! Online, Amanda will shake things up immediately upon arrival, as only the micro-mini power-suit-wearing ice queen can do.
