The Osbournes

They're the ones that spawned the domestic reality TV craze when the show premiered in 2002. Ozzy, Sharon, volatile Jack, and pink-tressed Kelly are television's most infamous family. Their foul mouths, erratic behavior and multitude of pets won us over, and we couldn't quite get enough. The Prince of F***ing Darkness's Beverly Hills home was filled with infighting, crack-ups, pet fiascos, Ozzy's unforgettable mumbling, and his classic "Shaaaarooooon!" call for help. Who can forget when Sharon threw a chunk of spoiled ham into their neighbor's yard or when Ozzy lamented that he lived in a nine-million-dollar turd because the dogs were pooping freely everywhere? The family drama got even more intense when Sharon was diagnosed with colon cancer and the two Osbourne kids went in and out of rehab. Nothing as raw, hilarious, or crazy ever happened on "7th Heaven." more

Gene Simmons Family Jewels

The legendary, tongue-wagging demon of KISS, Gene Simmons has proven since the first season that he and his family are one of the most traditional non-traditional celebrity families. Gene is "happily unmarried" to Shannon Tweed, his girlfriend of more than 20 years. Early this season, they made television history when they allowed cameras inside the operating room for their dual plastic surgeries and their painful but funny recovery process. Gene and Shannon worry and fret over their two teenaged children like any other parents. Gene is, of course, very protective of his little girl Sophie, whose main concern right now is boys. When Gene found out that she had her eyes on a hottie skier, his plan to spy on her got him in way over his head –- literally -– and he had to be rescued by the Ski Patrol. But having a dad with Rock God status has quite a few benefits. For his son Nick's 18th birthday, Gene sent him on a personal tour of London's musical landmarks including The Beatles' Abbey Road Studios. Then, father and son bonded while they recorded on the same sacred ground where the Stones, Hendrix and Led Zeppelin recorded their masterworks. Now that's badass! more

The Simple Life

This is the show that launched Nicole Richie and Paris Hilton to stardom. It's hard to fathom a time when Nicole Richie wasn't a major "celebrity," but she truly was an unknown before the debut of this show. Now we have DUIs, jail sentences, cat fights and much more to keep us busy. "The Simple Life"? Hardly! more

Being Bobby Brown

In this celeb-reality series, the former "New Edition" singer and ex-husband of pop diva Whitney Houston lets us go behind the scenes of his drama-filled life, which includes a prison stint, kids with different moms, and -- somehow -- time to record new albums. And of course Whitney takes some of the spotlight as we peer into what makes her tick. The third "regular" on the show is their daughter Bobbi Kristina, or "Bobbi Kris," who seems remarkably well adjusted for having two world-famous celebrities as parents. The best part of this show is definitely the exchanges between Whitney and Bobby, who almost seem to have their own language at times. And without "Being Bobby Brown," we wouldn't have "Hell to the no!" more

Newlyweds: Nick & Jessica

So let's hope Jessica knows by now that "Chicken of the Sea" really is tuna, and not chicken. This show made Jessica more than a teen pop singer and showed a new side of Nick, the former boy bander from 98 Degrees. America really fell for the ditzy yet lovable Jessica as she struggled through life's complexities, such as how to say "platypus" and just exactly what buffalo wings are made of. Nick came off as endearing mainly because he weathered his wife's quirks with a smile and encouragement (usually). The show lasted three seasons and took both stars to the next level of celebrity, turning them into bigger tabloid magnets than ever before. more
