You love him or you hate him
November 10, 2009
I have been watching "Countdown" ever since I discovered the show. When people accuse Keith Olbermann of arrogance, they fail to recognize that he is, instead, a refreshingly intelligent commentator who presents factual information to support his personal viewpoints. The farther rightward the Republican Party marches, the more they attract those people who are too ignorant to know what is in their own best interests. The Republican Party is the party of big business. Big business consistently exports more and more jobs outside of the United States, leaving American workers jobless. How do you think we got into this economic mess. The other thing big business, in the guise of large national financial institutions, has caused a housing crisis by giving deceptive mortgage agreements to people who they know full well will not be able to meet the obligations to which they have committed themselves. Now those practices are causing people to lose their homes and, in some cases, relegating them to the ranks of the homeless. Health insurers represent another big business that looks out only for itself. Why should healthcare be a for-profit business? Is it really fair that people who are born with pre-existing conditions be denied healthcare coverage for life? Because health insurance is most often provided by employers, it gives them one additional reason to discriminate by failing to hire people with health problems. It's about time people wake up and see that most policies of the Republican Party do not benefit the vast majority of Americans. At least Keith Olbermann is intelligent enough to recognize this and he professes his reasons every weekday.

Don't waste your time with this Liberal propaganda. This guy pretends to be a news reporter but is only a pawn for General Electric. Tune into FOX - They Report = You Decide.

Keith and MSNBC Have a Winner
October 29, 2009
Always thought provoking, Countdown is a good balance of news, opinion, interview and humor. Keith has a good delivery (although he can get on the soapbox once in awhile), and always has stories that aren't on you regular news channel. The slant is to the left, not the far left, but with a Liberal/Democrat point of view. Great segments include Oddball and Today's Worst Person in the World. Keith approaches stories with a rare ability to discern fact from BS.
Try it, you'll like it.
Oh, and that's NOT a wig he's wearing, Fox Propaganda.

The best show on MSNBC

This show is informative and exciting to watch- I loved his personal commentary on health care in regards to his father. He's dramatic but truthful. I watch it nightly!
P.S. I rated this show excellent with 5 stars-I don't know why only 3 stars appeared.
