    Dog the Bounty Hunter

    November 4, 2007
Hearing that Dog is being pulled from the air is very disappointing. Hearing why A&E is pulling the show is even more disappointing. A racial slur!? WTF! Did he let it slip on air to someone in anger? Did he post it on the internet somewheres, stating that he felt a deep rooted hatred for Africans? No, he was a having a personal conversation with someone, and it was taped without his knowledge and given to a company that prints their news on toilet paper. For one, if you don't like what he said, then guess what?, STFU and don't listen to him. If you see his show on tv, turn the channel. Don't take it off air and deprive his fans from his show. Besides from what I heard of the conversation in which the offending word was used, I can understand that the man was upset and venting. And I am not saying that I agree with him, I actually thought that Dog had more character than to say a word that is so offensive to so many people. On the other hand, I see no reason to make such a huge deal about a word that was spoken in anger. If I had a dime for every time I was called a racial slur, I wouldn't be playing the lottery. But the issue is never seen that way. If a white person is slandered, they are expected to ignore it (which is usually easy due to nature of the slurs, I mean cracker? whitey? casper? these attempted insults are far to funny to be taken seriously in my opinion). But heaven forbid that a white person uses the N-word. If this is the reaction in todays world to this use of this slur, then how come every rapper or hip hop singer is not publicly defamed and brought down like Dog has been? Its like trying to teach a child that something is wrong. You can't tell your child not to use curse words, and in the same breath curse in front of them. How can it be ok for a black person to use the N-word in front of millions, and it not be ok for a white person to use the same word in a private conversation? I vote for Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, NAACP and ACLU to all start another million man march, except this time protest your own people. Stop the use of this hated word world wide, not just in the white community.

Just to let you know that you are all special

    January 7, 2007
I love to watch the show, I respect and admire the fact that
Dog puts God first and before each bounty he prays and acknowledges God's grace. I only wish that the program would come on more than once and week on cable.
I would like to know when the new episodes will begin to air, and also like to send my prayers and condlences on the loss of your daughter. Also I'd like to wish you and Beth a very long, happy and prosperous marriage.

    Beth will you adopt me?????

    June 20, 2007
My father did unspeakable things to me at age 2 to 6 until a brother caught him. He was a father of seven, worked steady, didnt drink or drug,he looked like a hard working middle class dad. Fortunately my baby sister was spared due to the fierce protection my four brothers bestowed upon us girls against our own dad,my older sister was unfortunately abused for years. I resented my mother for years because she shut me out,it wasnt until i was older i realized she couldnt look me in the face...but i was mean, hated and distrusted most men,and generally ferel when it came to my parents. Im 45 now, smarter, wiser yet still have trust issues. A couple yrs or so ago Dog, (my hero),came to Oregon to help locate a young juvenile girl that had ran off with a coach..I had never heard of Beth or thier sons and had only vaguely heard of Dog. Now I stay up till the middle of the night to see the shows ive missed..It is a business yes but he`s more than that. He is some little girl or boys last hope..The more drug addicts, pedophiles etc.he rounds up the safer you and I, our children and thier children are. Maybe if Beth had been my mother I would have had bows in my hair,,polish on my nails.clothes besides jeans and ole shirt..If Dog had been my dad maybe I wouldnt be so messed up now. This show should never end, when Dog calls it quits I hope the boys carry on..I would have been honored to have them as brothers and from what I`ve seen they put most fathers to shame. A few years ago some friends turned meth addicts cost me a couple grand due to the corrupt nature the drug created in them..For every drug addict he takes off the streets the more hope I have each day. It would be criminal for this country not to come to this families aid and keep Dog out of a Mexican prison. He went after a rapist who hid behind his wealth and a border and that should be criminal..I see no borders when it comes to hunting down a sick person who will only continue to abuse others.. The Mexican government should be brought up on charges for harboring fugitives, kidnapping Dog, and our government should brow beat them till they drop the charges against these fine men..Raise your voice,,,stomp your feet,,,cry foul and above all stand by the finest people on this planet. If I was worth anything I`d go to Hawaii and beg them for a job behind the scenes just to be in the company of real men (and woman),,Since thats never going to happen all I can do is write reviews and join the fight for Dog and his family..My family loves you Dog and you couldnt be with a better woman,,theres so few anymore...Keep up the fight against drugs and crimes against women,,You are living angels to me and I will be devastated if the show ever ends..I will continue to pray with you each bounty,,God bless you all and the path you chose in life..

    Brilliant series!

    January 4, 2007
I watch "The Bounty Hunter" every night it is on.I hope this series is never cancelled.Dog is an incredible man, tough as nails on the outside, but a most brutally honest, wise, compassionate soul on the inside not afraid to shed a tear or share his downfalls as well as his triumps in front of the camera to an audience, and the media that could pick him apart and judge him.Bravo Duane Chapman. You have something to teach us all! We are all with you and cry with you at the recent loss of youre daughter, "Katie Barbra Chapman".I think it is wonderful how you take her child under youre wing as youre own.Youre partner and now wife "Beth"is an equally incredible person. My thoughts and prayers go out to you and youre beautiful family Dog.God Bless, and may peace finally be with you.sincerely, Dawn
