great cooking show
December 6, 2006
Alton is a great example of educational chef and his guests like to punctuate his point of view with facts and history. AB has a funny, geeky personality that enjoys showing the pros and cons of food stuff preparation.
Very entertaining show for novice and expert cooks.

GOOD EATS: Cool Cooking and Fun Science
June 19, 2007
By watching GOOD EATS and Alton Brown, I have gleaned amazing ideas, techniques, and recipes. Even though I consider myself a good cook and very knowledgeable about Science, I always learn more from Alton Brown's crew at GOOD EATS. The cooking equipment that Alton makes from scratch is worth a watch, just by itself. Alton knows how to model multi-tasking.
I especially appreciate Alton's humor that can lighten any day.
There are so many ways that he models chemical and other science concepts that I am surprised that he hasn't been bombarded with requests from science teachers all over the world. I think the National Science Teachers Association would benefit from an association with Alton Brown and GOOD EATS.
The Food Network needs to help him produce more shows. We, as consumers, cooks, and lifelong learners need more of Alton Brown and Good Eats .

Mr. Brown can do it. Can you?

No one does it quite like Alton. He makes cooking fun, easy, and educational as it should be. Thanks Alton for ever increasing my love of cooking. I love learning about the different kinds of food; such as, the different oils, salts, and different cuts of meat from different animals. I like knowing where my food comes from and what goes into its growth process.
