NBC apparently had some extra cash and an empty time slot and decided to give it to the first idiot to walk in. Well daly was the first one. This is the worst show on television. I rather watch Tony Danza than this idiot. Please NBC just put reruns of an old show or even an infomercial. I'm sure Chuck Norris working out would bring in more audience than this douche.

This show is awful, and not in the good, ironic way; You and your friends can't sit around and laugh at this show, for any reason. Rather, minor annoyances keep building up and you realize that Daly has no sense of humor, no timing, no charisma - Nothing to sink your teeth into. It's not that he's offensive, His sin is much, much worse. He's BLAND. Flavorless, beige on grey. It's as if Carson were a corporate creation pieced together by a commitee of market reasearch execs, each trying to appeal to the lowest common denominator. His Idiocy is matched only by his ignorance. It's obvious from the way he stares boggle-eyed at any guest from anywhere in the United States other than L.A. or NYC that he believes that the rest of us are a bunch of hicks living in mud huts. I'm convinced that he needs to read US magazine before he knows what his opinions are about anything. If it isn't covered in the tabloids, who gives a $#!%, right, Daly? And, he has no imagination whatsoever that might enable him to fake an origional thought. When speaking to Zach Braff about his choice of Natalie Portman as his love interest in his movie "Garden State", Carson says, "I'd just try to get whoever was on the cover of Maxim that week". That's the extent of this guy's imagination.
Having said that, Carson is a good-looking guy. He'd make a good spokesman for somthing, wouldn't he? I see him as a Ryan Seacrest-type guy. (another corporate creation). Yes, he should introduce other people with talent, then get off the stage.

NBC has a lot of good quality shows, and it doesn't make sense why they would give this shame of a comedian a talk show. Seriously, there are so many other comedians out there that would love to have this job. I'm just happy Conan is taking Leno's spot, and Jimmy Fallon is taking Conan's spot. Daly isn't even funny, his jokes are outdated and never funny. He tries way to hard and pisses everyone off when he does.
You suck monkey balls, Carson Daly. And i hope Jackie Chan kills you real good!

Not much competition at 1:00 am so I guess you have to be just barely more entertaining than watching paint dry. Wasn't he married to Tara Reid at one time?
