Cheesy yet so Brilliant!
September 24, 2008I won't lie, the show is a little cheesy at times, but it is a brilliant concept of portals opening up from the past (and spoiler alert, the future). Various creatures come into modern times and a unrealistic team of "experts" tracks the animals and studies the portals. Unlike the other comment which alludes each episode is just a new creature of the week, there are story arcs in place that have run the entire first and into the second season. There is light suspense, tons of humor, romance and action in every episode. It's great for families with older children because there is only implied violence, nothing gory. Simply Awesome
August 30, 2008This is an intelligent, well thought out, well acted and well shot piece of science fiction. Funny, witty & intense - this is all that Torchwood should have been.

A really fine offering from BBCA
September 27, 2008This is one of the few new shows on any channel that we truly enjoy. If we have any complaints, it's that they need more interaction with thing like T-Rex or Sabertoothed Tigers...on my end, I want to see the hot little blonde trotting around in her undies more often!

Awesome
September 14, 2008It's a great show! Dinosoars coming into the present, it's brilliant. Lots of action and some tense moments. But they also like to play around with stuff.

Thank you for putting together a SyFy show with humor and a
story that is interesting enough to pull me in to a show for
an hour each week. This American loves the newest British import.
Between SyFy and the BBC channels (that is the cannel where I got hooked) I am in first run and rerun heaven. Thanks for a show
