    I'M BUMMED.....

    May 3, 2009
I'm so disappointed that this show isn't on the air anymore, really bummed out. I love each of the Fab 5, esp. Carson. But I knew from the start that since they taped in the New York area they'd run out of single guys with their own apartments. Many NYC guys, especially Italian & Greek, stay home with the family until they marry so it was only a matter of time until they ran out of singletons. I'm happy to see Ted on Food Network and Thom with his HGTV decorating show but I'd love to see them all together on another show like Queer Eye.

    I love this show!

This show for me embodies much of what is great about our country and our culture. These five "curly" guys are cultural icons. It always brings a tear to my eye to see the Fab Five take these clueless straight guys, and transform them into the person they've always wanted to be. If only everyone in our society could drop the homophobia, and take care of one another with the compassion and caring that these guys show for their fellow man (and woman)! I am a straight woman, but I frequently joke with my teenaged daughter, "Carson says that those shoes have got to go!" Instead of it being a willful battle between mother and daughter, she laughs and says, "Maybe you're right!" The Fab Five have brought us that gift of honest and heartfelt feedback. Thanks guys! We love you!
