Still the highlight of Saturday night!
December 29, 2006
I've been watching the show since its inception, give or take. It's still brilliant. The people who say, "It's not like the old days, " don't watch it! Jimmy & Justin doing the "Bee Gees?" Come on! Anything that Alec Baldwin does, rocks! My 19 year old daughter considers it "bonding time," and we always LOL.
So stop criticizing and get on the SNL train!

SNL
December 22, 2006
Saturday Night Live has been on air for years. I remember so many great skits that have stuck with me through out the years... Chris Farley as the motivational speaker "I live in a van down by the river!" Adam Sandler singing the Thanksgiving song. The birth of Wayne's World. Movies have been made from skits. I love the 2 Wild and Crazy Guys.. The Ambiguasly Gay Dou.. Mary Katherine Gallagar "Superstar!" or "Sometimes when I get nervous I stick my fingers under my arms and smell them like this!" Lol. the church lady-"well isn't that special?"
I cannot imagine my childhood without this show, I used to look forward to sitting my mom and brother laughing our buts off. Now, I never have the time *I am now married with a child of my own.

Ups and Downs
November 21, 2006
SNL has had its moments of brilliance (Chris Farley's Chipindales dancing, "Matt Foley: Motivational Speaker", Wayne's World) and many many moments of awfulness.
But I still TiVo it every saturday in hopes of reliving something genius, like Eddie Murphy's "Mr. Robinson's Neighborhood".

Never going to be another!
May 25, 2008
There will never be another TV show like Saturday Night Live. Although there has been various copies of the show, nothing will ever take pop culture by storm. There have been some low points in the show as most will agree but for the most part the show is always funny and always delivers. I have never shut and episode off becuase it was boring. I think that SNL gives its viewers what they want, funny news, making fun of celebrities, and comerical parodies. The cast have been good for the most part, there have only been a few that I have wondered about. For the most part the hosts are great too, they always get the person who is most talked about in the news or someone who is just very funny. I hope that the show goes on for a long time and they continue to be as funny as they have always been!

Greatest Late Night Show
June 22, 2007
Mad TV has been trying to get as successful as SNL for the past years and, although Michael MacDonald and Bobby Lee are hilarious, Mad TV can never, let alone will never, be able to pass Andy, Amy, Fred, Seth, Kenan and the rest of the crew at SNL.
