It's about time for this show!!!

    May 30, 2008
I can't wait for this show!! Sure do hope it's a hit bc I am READY to audition for season 2!! I am 36 and I feel modeling should include ALL people at ALL ages because aging can be beautiful. We shouldn't feel like we are only pretty when we are in our 20's. Count me in!! Shigly@yahoo.com

Finally, a show that gives us older, fantastic looking ladies credit about maintaining ourselves. And Sharon, oh my God, you go girl. I'm 61, it makes me proud to hear people compliment me. I LOVE THIS SHOW. Thank you to all of you that put this show together.

how do you become a contestant? I have never heard of this show before. I think it is an excellent idea. It just goes to show that older women are beautiful too.

    supermodels??...by whose standards

    June 4, 2008
All of the women are beautiful...let's face it, if they weren"t they would not have made the cut. But the one thing that annoys me a bit is the fact that they are not only thin, they aremost likely over 5'6 and in some cases, small busted (fit the mold?). What about gorgeous women who take care of themselves physically but children and gravity have taken hold?? My body isn't perfect but at 47, 5'4 and size 8 (& big boobs).......no supermodel scouts will be looking my way....can't fit the mold....or should I say clothes? The Dove soap ads did it best......real women with real bodies........freckles,stretch marks and all....that is reality.

WARNING: THIS SHOW CONTAINS MIXED MESSAGES!!

    July 12, 2008
While I agree that it's important for women over 35 to feel good about themselves, I think it's even more important for ALL women to feel good about themselves. WE are not one-dimensional! WE are not all a size 2! WE are not all over 6ft tall! ..and WE can't all afford plastic surgery/personal trainers/personal cooks/spa get-a-ways! My lips are full- naturally, I am 5ft 2 inches, dark-toned, with a strong athletic body, 43 and oh, yeah- considered hot for my age! --but, do you think I could get a modeling contract? More importantly, I work 5 days a week, work out most days of the week, run half-marathons, like helping others, and I'm not obsessed with what others think of me. However, while others are certainly entitled to their opinion of me, MINE is the only one that really matters. There is so much more to ALL women. Isn't it time we stop letting others assign to us degrees of value and beauty? WE are ALL beautiful! WE belong to ourselves! WE are NOT property or pieces of art with assigned value. Isn't it time WE decide our own value and worth..at any age? In my opinion, most models-but certainly not all, are neither physically or mentally healthy -how can they be when the industry truly does not-and could not, support it? Let's focus on health, wellness, family, community spirit and REAL beauty, which is exactly what? ..My point, exactly!!
