We've seen Ian Somerhalder since then, in flashbacks, in a hallucination, and as a corpse. He's now playing a corpse again -- albeit a reanimated one -- as the bad-boy bloodsucker Damon Salvatore on "The Vampire Diaries." Mysterious and sometimes menacing, Lance Reddick's Matthew Abaddon character on "Lost" played a role in getting Locke on the island, and later was gunned down while acting as Locke's chauffeur. Abrams was able to shuffle the actor to another of his projects, "Fringe," where he plays Phillip Broyles, a Department of Homeland Security agent heading up the special fringe-science division.
