Spoiled actress Sean Livingston totals her car and is forced to join rancher Clint Brannan and his dog Scratch on a weeklong cattle drive. This is Clint's final cattle drive as his is forced to sell the ranch to pay off debts incurred in his divorce from wife Liz. In the wilderness, Clint is attacked by a bear and suffers serious wounds. Sean cares for him and works the herd, and the pair, who initially despised one another, begin to fall in love.
