Sad it is the final year for this amazing show!!
January 18, 2007This show is one of the very few that is so intrisically funny I am guaranteed several laugh out loud guffaws every episode! The situation comedy that we all can relate to...inlaw issues, marital
conundrums, spats with friends, --real life for so many of us held under a magnifying glass just long enough to magnify but not burn the images! Doug is a natural...he would be funny reading the phone book. I am sorry to see this delightful comedy leave us this season...thank God we will have re-runs to watch for years to come! One of the best!
December 13, 2006This series was a real sleeper for me. When it first came out, I would watch an episode here or there...mainly for Arthur Spooner (Jerry Stiller). As I watched more I began to enjoy the writing and character development. What seemed, at first, to be a cookie -cutter comedy clone began to emerge as one of the best comedy sitcoms on TV today. My favorite characters by far are Arthur Spooner and Spence Ulchen. Those actors are perfect for those roles and are very funny to watch. This is genuis. It's not as fast as the Office or as silly as Scrubs. But it's funny cause it's characters are brilliant yet real, and they get themselves into ridiculous situations THAT HAVE NEVER BEEN SEEN ON TV. Not same old same old!Was this review helpful to you? Sign in to rate -

THE best show ever
December 8, 2006I've seen every episode since the beginning and Love this show! The WB aired two episodes everyday + Sat and now TBS does. It is so funny! I've waited what seems like forever for the new ones and was not disappointed. My husband and son watch the show with me and we're always laughing.The first episodes were a little stiff, but the rest fell easily into place. Very funny show...
February 2, 2008This show makes me laugh...and not just a giggle laugh. It's a laugh out loud that comes straight from my belly. The characters are great...especially Doug! Sometimes he doesn't have to say a word...just the expression on his face cracks me up. I was sad to see this show go off the air but the repeats are still making me laugh.
