DAVE IS STILL THE CLASSIC
January 1, 2007
Love the show. dave's brief 'monologue' is more of a gesture
or homage to the early forms. The next half hour
is the funniest on tv. Bit after bit ( his mini-rants, top ten,
interaction with the 'hip obsessed' paul, the personal observations, the irony/sacasm of "will it float" and "know your cuts of meat", johnnys 'stump the band', ultimate nice guy rubert, cranky allen, etc) the show is just the best on tv today. No one come close.
Jay Lame-o's 'ha ha' sophomoric jokes are from another time.
Dave also isn't afraid to ask the tough questions-the arrogant never come back.

Dave's best show!
June 25, 2007
The Late Show is the only show I have to watch. Dave is topical and current. His comedy is "smart" and quick. Dave asks questions that Jay Leno would never ask (Lindsay Lohan, Paris Hilton, Oprah).
Additionally, Late Show has the best musical quests. My favorite
being the show totally dedicated to Warren Zevon when he learned
he was going to die from cancer. I don't look forward to the day when Dave retires. Thanks for all the laughs!

Its not all about you Dave
September 26, 2008
RE: Your comments on McClain.......why don't you back off and get a life.....Its not ALL about you Dave AND YOUR SHOW, its about the American people and our country.
I used to enjoy your show and thought you were a decent person, but now have lost all respect for you. You have lost the person you used to be......now its all about the ratings....no matter who it offends. And the comment about the age thing offends more that one person.

A very funny show with interesting guests
December 5, 2006
We very much like David Letterman, and watch his show every night, even the repeats. Although sometimes, his show does get a little raunchy, especially Alan Kalter..neither one of us can bear to watch him, and mute the sound when he is on. Other than that, Paul and David....keep up the good work...but lose Alan Kalter.

Man UP - Letterman
September 26, 2008
Enough is enough. I know you think your show is informative -like we all need to know each important moment in Paris Hilton's life-
but I find it refreshing someone is above the fluff of so-called entertainment. I am sure a few trillions of dollars one way or another for you is OK, but I rather like my government servants serving!
I guess you wanted to discuss what McCain's solution was before he even got to Washington. Geez, Obama had to be invited to get
involve in Washington. I guess he could phone in a another vote or
"present - but not voting" after the meaniful work was done.
I have been a loyal Letterman/WWP's fan - since the beginning -
but I think you are getting very trivial, trite and mean spirited and obviously an unabashed and relentless liberal. Your sweet Mom should have a talk with you.
And though I am not voting for McCain, I do wish I could vote for Craig Ferguson for my new late night buddy!
