Bad???? You bet..........
July 5, 2007Unfortunately, they all ARE bad.
From mediocre personalities, to poor culinary vision, to the incessant whining of "I miss my family" (what part of being away from home for weeks didn't they understand?), this seasons picks are slim. There is no Guy Fieri, or the Hearty Boys in this group. That along with the let's imitate Top Chef format have watered this down quite a bit.

Alton was awful
July 1, 2007Alton Brown's dour and pompous attitude ruined the entire show. He seems to think he is a demigod among mortals in this setting, when in fact he is standard joe with a comb over. The episode could have been treated humerously, but nothing interesting happened, other then Alton saying they were all bad, which was his attitude the entire time.Was this review helpful to you? They are all BAD!!!
July 5, 2007Alton probably forgot more than any of these flonkies will ever know.
This reality thing is getting stale and out of hand. There are too many shows on now and it seems to be a bit of a rip off with the audience paying for the show with text message charges.

I am so glad Melissa won I feel as a single mom she will make recipes that I can make and my son will eat. I like some of the other show but I'm a basic cook as are alot of the viewers simple is better. I can't wait to see her show.
