The rating on this episode blows me away. It's so low! John Doe was one of Robert Patrick's finest performances on the X-Files. The plot is super interesting. And the cinematography is moody and captivating. Additionally, the viewer gets a real impression of what Mexican cartels are up to. I have watched this episode - and Audrey Pauley - several times and I never tire of either.

I think Robert Patrick and Annabeth Gish were underrated by X-Files audiences. They had a lot - that is, Gillian Anderson and David Duchovny - to overcome when they started the season. And both actors did a fine job. By the end of season nine they had completely fleshed out John and Monica and I was really disappointed not to see more of them.

Will this series be making a comeback? There aren't too many series that hold my attention, this one did. Everything about the characters was done with study and intellect,so to speak, that it held my interest. So I hope it does make a return. Thanks!

This is my all time favorite show. I wish that they could get Mulder and Scully back together again. This aires at 1 A.M. and I stay up just to watch. When it ran as a primetime series, I would not go out because I didn't want to miss X-Files , My younger brother even started to watching too.I am 55 years old and I still can't get enough of 'X-Files . I have to say that I really didn't care for the other characters that took their places. I also liked the three guys who are friends of Mulder.Thank you for giving me a way to express my love for this show.Mary Ann C.

I myself love every single episode of x-files.and can not wait untill next year when the make a new movie.I to agree if no one has ever seen it before i would suggest for them to start.they wont be sorry they did.
