Best New Show

5 stars
I love this show. I am not a comic book person at all but I got sucked right in. The characters are great. All of the storylines hook me. Even the cop who hears thought was boring for like a second but he just got interesting again. I'm all about

Reality TV at it's best

5 stars
This is one of the few reality shows that does not deteriorate as the seasons go on. At least it hasn't yet. The people have actual talent for the most part. Seeing what the designers come up with each week is the best part. Tim Gunn is a fantastic reality mentor. His recap podcast are not to be missed. He dishes everything. I love this show. I don't think Jeffrey should've won season 3. Uli's last collection was better.

Gervais is a comic genius

4 stars
Like the British version of The Office, you may have to give this show a couple of episodes before you love it. But once it clicks, it's painfully hilarious. So uncomfortable and absurd. Ricky Gervais's character is so inappropriate in the best way. And I love to see his female co-star (don't know her name) in Ugly Betty. I hope she'll be in season 2.

Really, 4.5 stars

5 stars
But that's not an option. And if the show were Ted & Robin I'd give it 3 stars because the other 3 leads make the show. And really, it's all about Barney. Neil Patrick Harris is hilarious as an amoral womanizer (see Harold & Kumar go to White Castle).

A campy good time

5 stars
I love that the American version of this internationally beloved telenovela has retained some of the soapy cheesy. I figured I'd like it but I didn't think I'd love it, and I do. Of course, America Ferrera is awesome as always, but the supporting cast is great. Love the flamboyant nephew, the queeny editorial assistant, the receptionist. Vanessa Williams is great as the diva creative director gunning for the editor-in-chief. She makes a mean character likeable and sympathetic. Gotta TiVo it and watch.

Enough!

1 stars
Are you serious? We do not need this show on TV. The state of the American education system is bad enough we don't have to go around advertising this fact. Full disclosure: I've only watched about 10 minutes of this show. I had to turn it off after no one on the show knew the name of the baby who was stuck in a well in the '80s. It was multiple choice. Ok, so you don't remember, no big deal, but everyone thought the baby's name was Jessica Lynch!! Are you for reals? I can't watch people this stupid. No thanks.

Soapy, cheesy, fun

4 stars
I was prepared to not like Dirt but I have to say, I'm totally into it. It's such an over-the-top soap pretending to be a drama. Hello, Rick Fox! hahaha. Anyway, I'm in for as long as it lasts. But why is the paparazzo schizophrenic? Is it supposed to make him more sympathetic?

i've seen it. it's awesome

4 stars
I've seen the pilot of this show and it's fantastic. i thought, hmm, abc family? is it going to be all family-ish? but it's hilarious and fun and well-done. It's got the heart and quality of Freaks and Geeks and Undeclared. I miss those shows. I'm glad there's something new to fill that void.

What happened?

4 stars
I loved the first 2 seasons of Lost but what the heck is going on now? No, wait, I don't care. Zzzzzzz. Ugh, kill the Others. They're annoying. Why did Michael and Walt just sail away? Wasn't Walt super-special? Now he's just gone. No explanation. It seems more and more like they have no idea where the story is going. I hope it starts to make sense soon. Secretly I hope they make it back to LA and the mystery continues. Do something surprising or this TiVo season pass is going the way of my Desperate Housewives season pass.

Wait, what about Desmond's ex-fiancée and her Portuguese radar pilot guys? And what did the Others want with Clare? She had her kidnapping flashback like 15 episodes ago.

Better than the UK version

4 stars
I think it's better because I work in a US office with US residents so naturally it speaks to me more. I loved the British version. Watched them on BBC America, bought the dvds. I was really worried when I heard they were making an American version (the US version of Coupling sucked!!!! and the British version is one of my all-time faves).
