Usually I don't like shows that make fun of people. But Betty is inspiring in her good attitude in the face of all of that negativity. Even my husband likes this show. It is funny, touching & sometimes we get to see people get their comeuppance. I don't know, I just like it & guess what? NO LAUGH TRACK!!! I hate it when the entertainment industry assumes that I am too stupid to know when something is funny. - Linda

How could I not like this show? My mother took me on my 4th birthday to appear with several other kids. They took us behind a cutout castle held up with 2x4s. We came out & they gave us icecream - chocolate of course - and I got it all over my beautiful hand made (my mother sewed) birthday dress. Art came to me and asked me the standard questions, at which point I caught sight of myself in the monitor, with chocolate icecream all over my yellow party dress. I burst into tears. Art tried to comfort me & asked why I was crying. I said - ON LIVE TV! - "my mother is going to kill me for ruining my dress". He assured me that this wasn't so, but I was inconsolable. My mother slid down in her seat. This has been a favorite story around the family table at holidays for the last 55 years! - Linda Lee Wood

OK, I know that I am getting to be an old Fuddy-Duddy, but this show could hold your interest, have great characters & no nudity or swearing! The cast was great, the show was part of a rotation of 3 other shows; the down side - it was set in San Francisco.

I am not a sports fan, & didn't recognize most of the special guests - but this show really made me LAUGH! I miss this show! No laugh track!! what a bonus!

This was such a wonderful show. I would watch it over & over. If I could find it now, I would still watch it. The characters were wonderful, the scenery breathtaking, the acting first class, the writing outstanding. I wish we had more of this type of show now.

Just so much fun to see what people find & what it is worth. I always hope that I will get to go & find out that I am one of the lucky ones!
