Sad it is the final year for this amazing show!!
2 stars
This show is one of the very few that is so intrisically funny I am guaranteed several laugh out loud guffaws every episode! The situation comedy that we all can relate to...inlaw issues, marital
conundrums, spats with friends, --real life for so many of us held under a magnifying glass just long enough to magnify but not burn the images! Doug is a natural...he would be funny reading the phone book. I am sorry to see this delightful comedy leave us this season...thank God we will have re-runs to watch for years to come! God Bless THESE writers!!!

Three or four judges?
5 stars
I opt for four! I love Paula--she's always a little left of sane in her presentation and comments and I like that she balances all the harsh critiques of the others with some positive--but Kara rocks.
Kara knows her stuff...I may not always agree with her but she
is well spoken, bases her comments on individual performances and not some "preference pre-conceived"--and next year whenb Paula's contract is up I'd vot for three judges--Pandy, Kara and Simon..the man I love to hate!---Karenina

Who cares who wins?
1 stars
This is absolutely the first Big Brother season that I have no interst in who stays, who goes and who wins....
Far as I'm concerned we have a connivng and annoying over the top campy gay man, a macho little marshall arts conniver and a blonde that gives dumb blondes a bad name....
Yes, I hear y'all....they are there so they deserve it?? Nope---
it's a fluke and it's disappointing and everthing from the rooms in the house to the idiocy of what America's voters allow for slop sides to the incessant whining of the final three makes me so disappointed....
Wish they could stop it now and give the money to Charity.....
Seriously---not a good caast mix from the beginning--Jessie was even more irritating than the first time...Jeff was interesting, as was Russel....the rest were largely forgettable.....
A better cast mix next time please!!! (I think I could have done better)----
What a bust! (No I don't mean Jordan's)

Never Better Than Now With Rosie!
5 stars
The name of the show is The View . Rosie gives her view. She is honest, forthright, politically incorrect, passionate, socially responsible, and an amazing philanthropist who does not just complain but puts millions of dollars into making a difference...
You want pablum? Go find it elsewhere. Rosie was 100% correct in voicing her opinions about Donald Trump--who really showed his true colors debasing her as fat, stupid, a wreck, a slob.
Does she speak impetuously and perhaps regret things she says?
Well don't we all though......
Frankly, she does not need the money, and certainly does not deserve the grief. I am not not sure if I was her I wouldn't take my baseball and go home.
She was hired to provide new life to the tenth year of this show and she has done that. I loved Meredith, I tolerated Star....
Rosie is exactly who she says she is. No pretenses. What a gift to accept yourself and be comfortable in your own skin. People hate that. They love to crush esteem. It is the latest blood sport
on American soil............
My own VIEW is this VIEW is at an all time high! When Rosie leaves, so do I....I have seen real conversation now--I will never settle for poised and pure civilized discussion rubber stamped by the network lawyers again!

"Sometimes you want Jello...."
3 stars
Listen up folks. I love Hamlet, I love Midsummer Night's Dream...but they are too rich an appetite for daily consumption!
Sometimes I just want Jello...(to badly paraphrase a line from "My Best Friend's Wedding")!!! This is harmless fun---I can't imagine these mom's freaking out because this show is on when the kiddies are still up! Put on CNN if you want to see the kiddies get upset. Tell them 3,000 of our soldiers are dead. Get some perspective and realize this is a harmless, toe tapping, light weight
"journey" into casting a musical...and what a musical it is! 58 hours working every week, and you know what? I grab my diet coke, put up my feet, and sing along with the good, the bad and the hopeless....(sigh)---what an escape!

What's Not To Love?
5 stars
I can take just so many hours of CNN. As nice as Anderson Cooper is and as sincerely as he reports our sad state of world affairs; sometimes I just need entertainment. The Golden Globes
are consistently entertaining year after year. Largely because they don't bog themselves down with a "host" for the evening...
no lame banter throughtout by some annoying comedic hanger on...the show's highlight is the spectacle. The golden age of Hollywood is alive and well there. We see our favorite actors, actresses, directors, and song writers hobnobbing, sipping champagne, and enjoying themselves as we enjoy them. It is a guilty little pleasure, perhaps, to enjoy award shows...but darn it I'm entitled! I laughed so hard as Tom Hanks did his "Balls"
schtick when giving Warren Beatty his acheivment award....
